From the Classroom
We were all very happy to be back at school together this week. Children were eager to share with one another about Thanksgiving break and we had many new ideas bubbling forth in writing journals. Students wrote about family traditions, vacations, pets, and much more. We are learning how to use a story teller’s voice when we are writing personal narratives. We set goals to include dialog, details, vivid descriptions, action, and emotion. We have also been practicing our songs and play in preparation for our December Performance. Students continue to amaze us with their creativity during Choice Time building skyscrapers in block area, sewing small purses, making stick puppets, planting and cooking. Thank you so much to our parent community for continuing to support our students during Choice Time.
