Ana and Mary’s News April 14th, 2017

I was playing when I invented the aqualung. I think play is the most serious thing in the world.

From the Classroom:

It has been a busy week.  Our Suns have been working hard on their PARCC tests while the Moons and Stars created Mysterious Egg stories during their Writer’s Workshop. We have all been working hard on our ocean projects this week in preparation for the Learning Expo.  Your child may want to work on an art project about his/her ocean topic.  For example, if your child is studying whales, s/he might want to create a small diorama, make a sculpture out of garbage (we saw lots of these at the zoo), make a representation of the animal from clay, etc.  If your child decides to make an artifact to display at our museum night, please have them bring it to school on APRIL 19 (not before), as we do not have space here in the classroom to store the artifacts.
